On August 29, a meeting of the Law and Tax Committee of the European Business Association took place at Futura Hub, Nat Coworking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udd39 The discussion focused on the potential legislative ban on the use of 1C software in Ukraine and its implications for business.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\ud83d\udcac Khrystyna Onyshchenko, Partner at Nexia DK<\/strong> and Head of the Law and Tax Committee, presented a legal analysis of the situation:
\n\ud83d\udd87\ufe0f starting from January 1, 2030, the sale, use, and distribution of \u201chostile\u201d software products is planned to be prohibited;
\n\ud83d\udd87\ufe0f by the end of 2025, the State Service of Special Communications is expected to launch a register of banned software;
\n\ud83d\udd87\ufe0f fines of up to 2 percent of annual turnover are envisaged for companies that continue using prohibited software after 2030.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udcbc Nataliia Kyrnychna, COO of SFox Group GmbH<\/strong>, presented a comparative overview of ERP solutions that could serve as alternatives to 1C:
\n\ud83d\udd39 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, offering scalability and international standards, but with high costs and limited localization;
\n\ud83d\udd39 Odoo, valued for its flexibility and modularity, though requiring additional localization solutions;
\n\ud83d\udd39 Master Accounting, providing full localization for Ukraine and industry specific configurations;
\n\ud83d\udd39 Bookkeeper, a simple SaaS solution for sole proprietors and small businesses;
\n\ud83d\udd39 Vpravno (Codejig ERP), a modern Ukrainian low code system with integrations and a mobile version.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udcca Participants also received practical recommendations for planning the transition to new systems:
\n\ud83d\udd38 appoint responsible persons for the process;
\n\ud83d\udd38 test systems through demo versions;
\n\ud83d\udd38 conduct a process audit and prepare technical requirements;
\n\ud83d\udd38 implement changes in stages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\ude80\u00a0<\/span>Key recommendations to minimize risks:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>choose reliable vendors, use ready made integrations, avoid excessive customization, train staff, and allocate a contingency budget.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This meeting once again confirmed that the time to prepare for change is now.<\/p>\n
