One such project is the construction of a <strong>22.35 MW photovoltaic power plant with an energy storage system<\/strong> in the Zakarpattia region.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The project owner is <strong>ELIOS LUCHKY LLC<\/strong>, a company within the <strong>Helios Strategia Group<\/strong>. <strong>Helios Strategia LLC<\/strong>acts as the EPC contractor, responsible for engineering, construction, equipment supply, and commissioning.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><strong><span lang=\"uk\">Investing in Resilience: \u20ac10.8 Million from Oschadbank<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">To implement the project, <strong>Oschadbank<\/strong> signed an investment loan agreement with <strong>ELIOS LUCHKY LLC<\/strong> for <strong>\u20ac10.8 million<\/strong> with a <strong>7-year tenor<\/strong>. This is one of the largest long-term loans in recent years in Ukraine\u2019s renewable energy sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cOur agreement with ELIOS LUCHKY is a 7-year project finance transaction \u2014 exactly the kind of long-term capital needed for new construction and economic development\u2026 It is a strong example of a balanced approach to building a decentralized national energy system,\u201d said <strong>Yurii Katsion<\/strong>, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Oschadbank.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"uk\">In wartime conditions, such projects have a dual impact for Ukraine \u2014 <strong>economic and security-related<\/strong>. It responds to peak loads, capacity shortages, and price signals from the balancing market.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">During emergencies or power deficits, such a solar power plant can significantly reduce the risk of local outages in the region and support grid stability.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><strong><span lang=\"uk\">Tier 1 Technologies \u2014 Explained Simply<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure long-term and safe operation, the project uses only <strong>Tier 1 technologies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>LONGi photovoltaic modules<\/strong> \u2014 bifacial panels that increase generation by capturing reflected light.<\/li>\n<li><strong>GoodWe inverters and substations<\/strong> \u2014 the \u201cheart\u201d of the plant, converting solar energy and feeding it into the grid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Energy Storage Systems from Jinko ESS and Kehua Tech<\/strong> \u2014 modular storage solutions that \u201ccharge\u201d surplus daytime energy and discharge it during the evening peak.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In simple terms, the plant flexibly responds to electricity demand in the grid.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h4><strong><span lang=\"uk\">Construction During Wartime: Engineering That Performs Under Challenging Conditions<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">War has complicated logistics, timelines, and equipment availability. Despite this, the EPC team at Helios Strategia continues construction according to schedule and in compliance with international standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Installation is carried out with full technical and design supervision, including GPS-based positioning of components, in-house electrical testing of connections, torque control of bolted joints, and more.
