On November 7, the European Business Association\u2019s ESG Hub held its second off-site meeting \u2014 this time at the Bayer Ukraine plant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Participants took a tour of the seed production facility and laboratory, observed operational processes firsthand, and learned about the company\u2019s workplace organization. In addition, Bayer experts shared their ESG practices and initiatives.<\/p>\n

In particular, the team spoke about:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • the plant\u2019s operations, history, and production capacities;<\/li>\n
  • product quality control through high-level testing standards;<\/li>\n
  • staff structure and the challenges the team has faced since the beginning of the full-scale war;<\/li>\n
  • recruitment specifics and programs for employee support, training, and reskilling;<\/li>\n
  • the company\u2019s inclusive culture and accessibility features at the plant;<\/li>\n
  • commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals and ongoing production optimization to reduce environmental impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As Bayer emphasized, the company\u2019s guiding principle is: \u201cWe don\u2019t just grow seeds \u2014 we help people see another world, a better world!\u201d<\/p>\n
