Its implementation involves active engagement from three key participant groups:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">representatives of local self-government bodies;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">representatives of educational institutions (trainers);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">students.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>This course is designed for trainers who will facilitate the implementation of SPB in schools and guide students through the entire process.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over six lectures, participants will learn:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the role of the trainer in implementing SPB;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the stages and roles within SPB;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how to conduct training sessions for students;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how project voting and winner selection take place;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how to implement projects;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how and why to use the e-democracy platform e-DEM.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lectures include links to implementation documents, presentations, checklists, instructions for working with the electronic system, and other useful materials.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Who is this course for?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The course materials will be useful for representatives of educational institutions who wish to become trainers and help students navigate the school participatory budget process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Course Structure:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecture 1: What is SPB and What is the Trainer\u2019s Role<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecture 2: SPB Stages and Roles<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecture 3: SPB Trainings<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecture 4: Voting and Winner Selection<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecture 5: Project Implementation and Use of Results<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lecture 6: School Moderators\u2019 Tasks on the e-DEM Platform<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The online course was developed as part of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by East Europe Foundation, and the Council of Europe project \u201cStrengthening Multi-Level Governance and Local Democracy to Support Ukraine\u2019s Recovery,\u201d carried out by the Centre of Expertise for Good Governance under the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, with expert and methodological support from the NGO \u201cCivil Society Development Forum.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Course Registration: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/courses.zrozumilo.in.ua\/courses\/course-v1:eef+EEF-065-1+October-2025\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/courses.zrozumilo.in.ua\/courses\/course-v1:eef+EEF-065-1+October-2025\/about<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The educational online platform Zrozumilo! has launched the course \u201cSchool Participatory Budget for Educational Institutions\u201d, which helps teachers learn how to integrate the school participatory budget into the educational process.
