The goal of the program is to achieve blood pressure control below 140\/90 mmHg in 50% of patients with arterial hypertension by the year 2028.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">During the first phase, from November 2024 to February 2025, more than 1,450 doctors participated, contributing data on over 12,700 patients. The first analytical report has already provided important insights:<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\ud83d\udd38<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> Only 16.2% of patients are reaching target blood pressure levels, even while on treatment.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\ud83d\udd38<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> The average blood pressure remains at 152\/90 mmHg.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\ud83d\udd38<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> 10% of patients receive no antihypertensive treatment at all, while 20% are on monotherapy.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\ud83d\udd38<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> Only 30% of patients receive fixed-dose combinations, despite guidelines recommending them as the first-line treatment for most hypertension patients.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\ud83d\udd38<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> The rate of cardiovascular complications (heart attacks, strokes, heart failure) remains high.<br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\ud83d\udd38<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> Hypertension is increasingly common among younger people, particularly men, who are less likely to recognize the need for treatment and are less adherent to recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The next phase of data collection will begin in October 2025 and run through December. The information gathered will serve as the basis for annual analysis and monitoring progress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In addition to the planned data collection, all doctors participating in &#8220;MISSION 50\/28&#8221; have access to an educational platform and a chatbot, which provide them with up-to-date scientific information and patient support materials.
