This week, the EBA Dnipro Finance&Tax Committee held a meeting with the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region, moderated by Leonid Karpov<\/b>, Committee Head and Partner at AC Crowe Ukraine<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The discussion focused on:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2714 how to properly report on CFCs and avoid penalties;
\n\u2714 the difference between dividends from Ukrainian and foreign companies, and how to prevent double taxation;
\n\u2714 the concept of a controlling person and its importance for businesses;
\n\u2714 the significance of avoiding errors in electronic reporting forms;
\n\u2714 how to handle tax obligations in cases of employee or personal mobilization.<\/p>\n

Special attention was given to common mistakes in CFC reporting, including incorrect determination of the type of control, arithmetic errors, and incomplete documentation to support expense deductions.<\/p>\n
