This told <strong>Alla Biniashvili, Member of the Management Board of OTP BANK JSC responsible for corporate business development<\/strong>, during her speech at the international Grain Ukraine conference held in Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cToday, business clients fall into two categories: those who are postponing development until peace and stability return, and those who are already investing in the renewal and growth of their enterprises. The latter are still few, but they will be, figuratively speaking, 30 steps ahead of those who choose to stand still. Energy projects, land purchase investments, SME sector \u2013 there used to be few such deals, now there are more and more of them, and this is where we focus our attention. Last year, OTP Group in Ukraine provided over 5 billion in credit funds for farmers to purchase agricultural machinery,\u201d<\/em> \u2013 noted Biniashvili.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She also pointed out that the overall ratio of bank loans to Ukraine\u2019s GDP remains low \u2013 around 15%, compared to 40% in neighboring countries like Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cThis speaks to the limited saturation of the economy with credit resources and a lack of demand for them. There are plenty of small credit deals, but when it comes to large-scale investment projects, Ukrainians are still hesitant,\u201d<\/em> she explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to her, improving this situation requires greater stability, lower interest rates, insurance mechanisms, and support from international development funds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OTP BANK was an official partner of the two-day Grain Ukraine international conference, which took place on May 29\u201330, attracting over 1,000 participants, including representatives of the Ukrainian government, global funds, international corporations, and owners of major businesses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Investment financing is a top priority for OTP BANK, which is why the bank is focused on supporting entrepreneurs who are ready to grow and modernize their businesses.
