The FUIF funding will be designated for the procurement and construction of highly maneuverable cogeneration plants in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INTEGRITES coordinated the collection and delivery of the necessary materials for W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 as a Finnish exporter and Ukrainian municipal enterprise, who will use own existing sites and connections to grids for more resilient heat and electricity supply by newly installed cogeneration plants based on medium-speed reciprocating gas engines with waste heat boilers, providing a total electric capacity of several dozen megawatts and a total energy efficiency close to 90%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The FUIF was launched at the end of 2024 by the Finnish government and is aimed at financing commercial projects in the Ukraine\u2019s public sector, provided that such projects aim at the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as make use of Finnish equipment, technologies and experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INTEGRITES project team was led by Partner<strong> Oleh Zahnitko<\/strong> and included Counsel <strong>Yevhen Ivanets<\/strong>, paralegals <strong>Tetyana Buslova<\/strong> and <strong>Anastasia Zinkova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn more about FUIF terms <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.integrites.com\/publications\/finland-ukraine-investment-facility-introduced-to-support-public-sector-projects-in-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INTEGRITES assisted W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 Finland OY and municipal enterprise of Chernihiv City Council \u2018Teplokomunenerho\u2019 with applications for financing to the Finnish-Ukrainian Investment Facility (FUIF).
