On February 25, the first meeting of the Transport Working Group of the Association in 2025 was held in Odesa, dedicated to discussing the key challenges and prospects for the development of logistics in the region and Ukraine as a whole under wartime conditions. The event brought together experts and representatives of the transport industry to jointly find solutions to pressing issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the main topics discussed at the meeting were the sector’s labor shortage, rising transportation costs, and the limitations in the operation of sea terminals. Emphasis was placed on the need to simplify logistics processes, improve government regulation, and ensure the stable functioning of transport routes. Special attention was given to transportation safety issues and the adaptation of companies to wartime changes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The prospects for the sector’s recovery after the war were also considered. The discussions covered opportunities for port infrastructure modernization, the development of multimodal transportation, logistics digitalization, and the implementation of new technologies to improve transportation efficiency. Participants emphasized the importance of attracting international investments that could contribute to the renewal of transport infrastructure and expand the capabilities of Ukrainian ports.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After the meeting, the participants visited GOL warehouses<\/strong> for storing grain cargoes and mineral fertilizers, located at the TIS container terminal. During the visit, cargo handling operations, logistics of cargo transshipment, and the use of modern equipment were demonstrated. They also discussed the prospects for the terminal’s development, improving access to infrastructure, and the role of the port in international transport corridors.<\/span><\/p>\n
