As Ukraine strives to rebuild and strengthen its economy amid significant challenges, the need for a globally competitive skilled workforce is paramount. The innovative ENGin program plays a key role in preparing Ukrainian leaders across various industries by overcoming language barriers and fostering international connections. ENGin equips Ukrainians with the tools for professional success and contributes to Ukraine\u2019s future on the global stage through English language practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

ENGin students often have ambitious dreams \u2014 publishing a book on Amazon, creating a youth program, or representing Ukraine in their field abroad. ENGin gives these students the confidence and language skills necessary to realize their potential.<\/span><\/p>\n\t

For example, take the story of <\/span>Alina Sors<\/b>, an architecture student who dreamed of publishing a book.<\/span><\/p>\n

At 17, Alina wrote her first book but never imagined it would reach a global audience. With the support of ENGin and under the guidance of a volunteer, Alina translated her work into English and <\/span>published it on Amazon<\/span><\/a>. Armed with both architectural knowledge and communication skills, she can now build a dynamic, multifaceted career.<\/span><\/p>\n\t

ENGin goes beyond supporting individual achievements \u2014 the program fosters social entrepreneurship and community impact. ENGin student <\/span>Vladyslav Kodatsky<\/b> founded a non-profit organization called WE WORLD, launching initiatives like the “Iron Run” to support the Ukrainian army.<\/span><\/p>\n

ENGin helped Vladyslav improve his English skills, broadening his horizons and enabling partnerships with European companies. He now plans to launch a youth exchange program to promote both English language learning and cultural exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n\t

For some, ENGin has opened doors to unexpected career paths. <\/span>Denys Adamiak<\/b> is one such example. His experience with ENGin, which involved learning about American history and life from volunteer Milan, eventually led him to work in the U.S. transportation industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, Denys represents Ukraine, working closely with American mechanics and managers to help truck drivers with vehicle repairs. His fluency in English became the key that allowed him to break into this field, and he is happy to be part of an industry where his skills and experience are highly valued.<\/span><\/p>\n\t

For <\/span>Diana-Dylan Hadzhi<\/b>, the program became a bridge to the world of international education. Diana started at ENGin with an A2 level of English. She worked closely with her volunteers, learning effectively through TV shows, group meetings, and conversations within the program to improve her language proficiency. The result? Diana earned full scholarships to prestigious summer programs at Yale University and Parsons Paris. Not stopping there, she founded an international speaking club that brought together students and volunteers from over 25 countries. Today, Diana has acceptance letters from universities in London and Florida. She is confident that an even more exciting journey lies ahead, thanks to ENGin.<\/span><\/p>\n\t

ENGin\u2019s impact also extends to strengthening the civic community in Ukraine. <\/span>Olga Voitovych<\/b>, a program manager at the Eastern Europe Foundation, joined ENGin after being forced to leave her home due to the war. Thanks to the program, Olga became an advocate for Ukraine, using her English skills to raise awareness about the country’s struggles in the international community. She leads the “Phoenix: Resilience of Ukraine in Wartime” project, which focuses on empowering civil society and building the resilience of NGOs. Her conversations with Rosemary, an ENGin volunteer, evolved into deep discussions about peacebuilding, global development, and justice. Their shared passion for these topics further strengthened Olga’s ability to lead critical initiatives for Ukraine’s future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program also offers students the opportunity to join dozens of interdisciplinary communities moderated by volunteers. These include career planning, global issues, and women’s empowerment communities, all of which contribute to personal and professional growth. Students can connect with like-minded individuals in their areas of professional interest while practicing their English. Additionally, ENGin graduates can add their participation certificates to LinkedIn as part of their professional portfolio. ENGin also provides access to valuable educational resources through the Pro Learning community, such as Udemy, which offers thousands of courses for professional skill development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukraine’s future depends on a workforce ready to thrive in the global economy. ENGin\u2019s innovative approach to language learning and international connections equips Ukrainian students with the tools they need to make a significant impact both at home and abroad. By developing communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills, ENGin students become the driving force behind Ukraine\u2019s recovery and long-term growth.<\/span><\/p>\n
