This marks a significant milestone as the first publication of the national practice in the country&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p>VB Partners attorneys prepared the study, which covers critical aspects of Ukraine&#8217;s sanctions policy in response to russian aggression.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian section includes:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Trends and overview of the sanctions sphere:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activity of Ukraine&#8217;s use of the sanction\u2019s mechanism.<\/li>\n<li>Nationalization of russian assets to finance Ukraine&#8217;s recovery.<\/li>\n<li>Establishment of the State Register of Sanctions as a resource for improved control and monitoring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Regulation of the industry:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The roles of the following regulators of conventional sanctions are defined: the Cabinet of Ministers, the National Bank, the Security Service, the National Security and Defence Council, the President, and the Verkhovna Rada.<\/li>\n<li>The role of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the High Anti-Corruption Court in the nationalization of assets is highlighted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Overview of legislation and court practice, including issues related to sanctions enforcement and their lifting.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last five years, VB Partners has been actively developing its national sanctions practice.
