Astarta\u2019s agricultural subsidiaries completed the early harvesting of spring crops on 61kha. The total gross harvest of spring crops exceeds 302kt, including 260kt of winter wheat, 40kt of winter rapeseeds, and 2kt of winter peas.<\/p>\n

The Company\u2019s average winter wheat yield amounted to 5.3 t\/ha and winter rapeseed yield \u2013 to 3.4 t\/ha. The highest average was achieved at 6.3 t\/ha of winter wheat and 3.8 t\/ha of winter rapeseeds at the Khmilnytske subsidiary in the Vinnytsia region. The average winter peas\u2019 yield, a new crop for the Company, is 3.5 t\/ha.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The abnormally hot and rain-free weather prompted us to harvest the crops quickly \u2013 this year\u2019s harvesting campaign lasted 14-17 days, compared to 24 days in the previous year. The well-coordinated work of the team, stable communication in the fields (via StarLink) and strict control over the entire supply system (via AgriChain) allowed to successfully complete the process on tight timetable. Amid such unfavourable weather conditions, early varieties of winter rapeseeds and wheat demonstrated higher productivity, while late hybrids proved less resistant. Winter peas proved to be a good performer. This year, as in the previous year, we focused on optimising production costs, given the current soft commodity price environment. And we are succeeding in my view,<\/em> says Mr. Roman Pavlyk, Head of Crop Production at Astarta-Kyiv.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
