We successfully assisted with Ukrainian law matters related to the formation of a joint venture between Ar\u00e7elik\u2019s subsidiary, Beko B.V., and Whirlpool Corporation\u2019s subsidiary, Whirlpool EMEA Holdings LLC, leading to the establishment of a stand-alone company, Beko Europe.<\/p>\n
Based on 2023 production volumes this new entity is now the largest manufacturer in Europe of major domestic appliances, with over 20,000 employees and 11 production sites, manufacturing some 24 million home appliances annually.<\/p>\n
The transaction spanned more than 20 jurisdictions, requiring a comprehensive understanding of diverse legal landscapes. Our involvement focused on structuring the Ukrainian elements of the transaction and turnkey support for its implementation in our country.<\/p>\n
