Dentons advised YM LIQUID GAS on the regulatory aspects of the production of bio-LNG in Ukraine and the requirements of its <\/span>export to the European Union. In particular, the team advised on customs formalities and potential changes to Ukrainian legislation to improve the legal environment for the implementation of bio-LNG projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

YM Liquid Gas is a pioneer in Bio-LNG production in Ukraine. Bio-LNG is an alternative to fossil fuels, made by converting chicken manure and agricultural waste into biomethane. It offers a cleaner and eco-friendly fuel alternative for the heavy-duty transportation sector, particularly for large trucks.\u00a0 The company plans to produce 20 tons of Bio-LNG daily in 2024 and aims to double the production in 2025.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kyiv-based partner Maksym Sysoiev<\/b> led the Dentons legal team on the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In February 2024, <\/span>Maksym Sysoiev<\/a><\/span> was <\/span>re-elected as a board member of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine<\/a><\/span> (UABio), where he will help the other members of the board understand the legal aspects of supporting bioenergy projects.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
