On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, OTP Bank together with the DonorUA organization held a corporate Donor Day. It was attended by 34 employees of the Bank’s head office, who donated blood for the needs of the Kyiv Regional Blood Service Center.<\/p>\n

According to statistics, one donor can save the lives of three people, so the blood collected during the event will help more than hundred of Ukrainians. In total, the employees donated more than 15 liters of blood, which the Blood Center uses for the treatment of the wounded, those who suffered injuries as a result of accidents, as well as in the treatment of serious types of ailments.<\/p>\n

“Donor blood is actually a strategic resource, because there are simply no substitutes for it! Only a person can save someone who needs a blood transfusion, because no medicine will help in this case. In today’s conditions, the need for donor blood has increased many times. Therefore, participation in this event is the contribution of the OTP Bank team to the popularization and development of the culture of donation in Ukraine,”<\/em> said Lesya Syrota<\/strong>, team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project, director of the OTP Bank retail business sales and network management department.<\/p>\n
