The importance of financial support for businesses in Ukraine takes new shape within the context of the challenges caused by the war, highlighting the need for the country’s recovery and reconstruction.<\/p>\n
In this light, on February 8th at 9:30 a.m., Kyiv time, the conference \u201cFinancing Business During War: Ways to Ukraine’s Recovery\u201d took place, gathering business representatives both in Kyiv and online.<\/p>\n
Organized by the European Business Association<\/a> and the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine<\/a> with the support of international donors, including USAID’s \u201cInvestments for Business Resilience\u201d project and the IFC’s \u201cAsset Based Finance\u201d project, the conference focused on critical issues related to financing and reconstructing Ukraine. Speakers included government representatives, international experts, bank sector \u00a0employees, and business leaders, who shared their knowledge and experience in key areas:<\/p>\n The conference included panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities, providing participants with a unique platform for exchanging ideas and finding effective solutions for financing and reconstructing business in Ukraine during this critical time.<\/p>\n Vira Savchenko<\/a>, CEO of BDO in Ukraine, spoke at one of the panel discussions on opportunities and ways to finance business in the context of military operations, with the topic \u201cWar Risk Insurance for Business in Ukraine\u201d.<\/p>\n\n
