Sayenko Kharenko has become a partner of the European Business Association\u2019s industry research on the overall state of transport infrastructure development in Ukraine \u2013 Infrastructure Index 2023.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s edition of the Index aimed to assess the state of the transport industry, the impact of military operations on the functioning of the transport infrastructure and identify relevant initiatives to stabilise the transportation and logistics market.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is interesting to see the implementation of international standards, particularly FIDIC contracts, among the top 3 priorities for developing the road sector. This tool can significantly help Ukraine in general infrastructure development and post-war reconstruction projects. Of course, this is not a panacea, but using familiar standards increases the comfort level of foreign investors and donors when working in our country.<\/em><\/p>\n Over the past few years, several changes have been made to the legislation to enable FIDIC contracts.
