The culture of diversity originated in the West, and it was most influenced by the development of technology. The presence of policies regulating inclusiveness and diversity flows seamlessly into our culture. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the topic of inclusiveness and diversity has become very relevant, most companies are starting try to adapt such values, which makes it possible to get quality results within the team, regardless of appearance, gender, age, race, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Invited speaker of the event was <strong>Nadiya Savchenko &#8211; the founder and head of HR Agency Key People. <\/strong>During her speech the following questions were revealed: what is diversity culture about, what are the challenges associated with the lack of diversity culture in companies, what role does the team leader play in the implementation of diversity culture, as well as how the culture of diversity works in practice. <strong>Andriy Labunsky <\/strong>a volunteer and representative of the &#8220;Games of Heroes&#8221; project, also was among speakers. He presented a program which helps wounded veterans, &#8221; Games of Heroes&#8221; is a project aimed at psychological and physical rehabilitation veterans who were injured during the war, the program helps faster recover and become fully autonomous again and better adapt to civil life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Summarizing the meeting, it is worth to note that the return of veterans to the labor market, the need to hire Ukrainians from other regions (and not only Ukrainians) further emphasizes the urgency of creating diverse, fair and inclusive workplaces. Organizations must foster an inclusive culture, work to improve representation at all levels and address systemic bias and discrimination.
