Protection of children’s rights during war is one of the most urgent and important problems in Ukraine. Because the war was the cause of violations of all children’s rights at once, including such as: loss of home, parents or relatives; physical, psychological and emotional injuries; sexual violence and forced transfer to the country of the aggressor, etc.<\/p>\n

To date, in the current legislation of Ukraine, relevant social relations are regulated on the basis of the Law of Ukraine “On Childhood Protection”.<\/p>\n

Thus, according to Article 30-1 of the specified Law, the state takes all necessary measures to ensure the protection of children who are in the zone of hostilities, children who have suffered as a result of hostilities, their care and their reunification with family members, including search, release from captivity, return to Ukraine of children illegally taken abroad. And the authorized bodies create conditions for their rehabilitation in the field of health care, psychological, pedagogical rehabilitation and social reintegration.<\/p>\n

In addition, the right to the protection and care of children affected by armed conflict is defined in Articles 38 and 39 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. In particular, Article 39 of the Convention requires the participating states to take all necessary measures to promote the physical and psychological recovery and social integration of a child who is a victim of war.<\/p>\n

Under such circumstances, protection of children’s rights is always an important task, established not only at the international or national level, but also at the personal level – that is, at the family level, which requires systematic work and interaction of various parties to ensure the safety and well-being of the future generation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
