Recently, EBA Financial & Tax Committee Meeting\u00a0 with the State Tax Service in Zaporizhia Region took place, where the following topics were discussed:<\/p>\n

  1. Innovations in tax legislation.<\/li>\n
  2. Attention was given to the theme of planned inspections in 2023.<\/li>\n
  3. New opportunities of the taxpayer’s electronic cabinet were outlined.<\/li>\n
  4. The State Tax Service in Zaporizhia Region provided interesting and useful examples of identified violations with risky counterparts and understatement of income tax for foreign individuals.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Additionally, the participants of the webinar from the State Tax Service in Zaporizhia Region drew attention to upcoming legislative innovations, including the draft Law on Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine regarding peculiarities of taxation during the state of war.<\/p>\n

    Experts from AC Crowe Ukraine, Leonid Karpov, and Alevtina Polishchuk provided professional advice and addressed current issues on the following topics:<\/p>\n

    1. Accounting policy in judicial practice.<\/li>\n
    2. Discounting long-term liabilities.<\/li>\n
    3. Writing off irrecoverable debts (statute of limitations).<\/li>\n
