On May 28, PRAVEX BANK team joined the traditional annual charity project \u201cRun under the Chestnuts\u201d, which was held this year for the 30th time.<\/p>\n

Due to martial law, the participants did not gather at the same location and at the same time. For safety reasons, they joined the event online and went for a run or walk in safe places.<\/p>\n

\u201cRun under the Chestnuts\u201d annually gathers both athletes and runners, as well as everyone who wants to do a good deed and help children with heart defects. Everyone can join, runners not only inspire others to lead a healthy lifestyle by their own example but also contribute to fundraising for the purchase of necessary equipment for the Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Children\u2019s Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Health Ministry of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

A total of 107 employees of PRAVEX BANK joined the project in different parts of Ukraine, as well as in Italy, Great Britain, Poland, Georgia, and the USA.<\/p>\n

\u201cRun under chestnuts\u201d has become a real tradition in Kyiv and Ukraine, which brings kindness, empathy, humanity, and the ability to enjoy every day and help others. Moreover, it is a great opportunity to make the world a better place with such a small contribution and to give a chance for life to children with congenital heart defects.\u00a0 The Bank’s participation in such initiatives is very important because they contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and comply with the ESG principles that the Bank is guided by while implementing its own development strategy\u201d,<\/em> said Svitlana Kramarova, Member of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer and ESG manager of PRAVEX BANK.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Run under Chestnuts” is the largest sports and charity event in Ukraine. It has taken place annually since 1993. In recent years, funds collected during the event, are aimed at the purchase of vital medical equipment for the Scientific-Practical Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In total, more than 7,000 participants and more than 100 corporate teams from different parts of Ukraine and the world took part in the campaign this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
