BRUSSELS, 13 April 2023<\/strong>: BDO has announced that effective immediately, Trond-Morten Lindberg, BDO\u2019s Regional CEO EMEA will become the new Global Chief Strategy and Operations Officer (CSOO).<\/p>\n The fast pace of change, a complex business environment and a clear ambition to grow global business have increased the need to create a dedicated new role in the organisation.\u00a0BDO\u2019s new Global Chief Strategy and Operations Officer (CSOO) will drive alignment, consistency\u00a0and execution of the Global BDO strategies.<\/p>\n Pat Kramer, CEO BDO Global, adds:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m thrilled that Trond-Morten has accepted to take up this important new role with our Global Leadership Team. The time is right to modernise our regional structure and improve its overall effectiveness.\u00a0Reorganising our regions will provide a real opportunity to engage and manage the regional geographies in a different way.\u00a0Trond-Morten will also ensure an even roll-out of our Global BDO strategies within all our firms worldwide, including the sustainability programme and a number of highly important international business areas.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Commenting on his appointment, Trond-Morten says:\u00a0\u201cI am delighted to be taking up this new role. He also lead BDO International\u2019s Global Innovation stream and was the sponsor of the Sustainability programme, which includes BDO\u2019s commitment<\/a>to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.<\/p>\n Before joining BDO\u2019s Global Leadership Team in 2017, Trond-Morten was the Managing Partner and CEO of BDO in Norway for 8 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
