On March 13, the business community of the European Business Association met with the leadership of the Southern Interregional Directorate of the STS on work with large taxpayers.<\/b> From the Directorates\u2019 side, the following took part in the event:<\/span><\/span> Oleksandr Batrak<\/span><\/b><\/span>, Acting Head of the Southern Interregional Directorate of the STS on work with large taxpayers, Nataliia Munika<\/b>, Head of the Tax Audit Department, and Svitlana Viazlovska<\/b>, Head of the Tax Administration of Enterprises of the Agro-Industrial Complex.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The meeting was moderated by Vitalii Smerdov,<\/b> a partner in the tax practice of Crowe Mikhailenko, the head of the Financial and Tax Committee of the EBA Southern Ukrainian office, and Inna Hryshkovets<\/b>, the committee’s manager of the EBA Southern Ukrainian office.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Directorates\u2019 representatives talked about the practice of providing budget compensation and the approximate terms of its provision, on what grounds document unscheduled inspections are most often conducted and what violations of tax legislation are most often recorded during such inspections, as well as the practice of processing applications about the impossibility of fulfilling tax obligations. The companies\u2019 questions were related to such topical topics as the process of submitting reports and paying taxes by companies that are actually located or were located in temporarily occupied territories, cases in inspections when management and employees have the status of internally displaced persons, etc.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We thank business, which, in the face of a full-scale war, continues to hold the economic front, filling the State budget with taxes, helping and supporting the army, paying salaries, etc. We also express our gratitude to the Southern interregional directorate of the STS for work with large taxpayers for their openness to dialogue.
