You <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">managed.<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> The whole country managed. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Speaking about business,<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> most<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> of the<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> companies <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">went through that period <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">and continue to work. Yes, it&#8217;s not easy. For some, even very <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">challenging<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> &#8211; due to a lack <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">of <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">capital, destruction<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">, disruption of logistic chains, <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">collapse<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> (and sometimes <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">even<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> clos<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">ure of<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> the market &#8211; as <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">with air transportation<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">). But, in general, business <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">continues to <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">hold the economic front. And I thank everyone for <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">you<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">r strength, courage, resilience, patriotism and unity.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">Moreover, I am grateful <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">that in such a difficult time you continue to support the country, look for ways to adapt, hold on (sometimes like a rooster from Borodyanka), continue to pay taxes whenever possible, use arguments and facts to convey the voice of business, explain the importance of certain changes for economic front. This year, by the way, we received even more individual requests fro<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">m you <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">than in previous years. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">And we together worked twice hard to find the justice. <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">The regional offices of <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">the EBA<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">in Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa and Lviv, where we have 204 member companies, as well as the whole<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> EBA <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">team, worked 24\/7 and continue to do so to support the busines<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s. \u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">Also, thanks <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">for <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">keeping<\/span> <span lang=\"UK\">share your needs and plans with us. Yes, this year we met much less <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">due to the obvious reasons<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">. S<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">till,<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> next year we will <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">try to fix it and, I hope, will have more offline. <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">Nevertheless, understanding the importance of global expansion for you, we also did not stand still and launched the Global Business for Ukraine initiative &#8211; to create a platform for global networking and <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">mobilize<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> global business around Ukraine.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">Furthermore, I thank you<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> for continuing to support your employees<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> and Ukrainians in general<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> in such a difficult time. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Throughout the year <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">our <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Management Development Center<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> held educational events <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">for you<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">. And, by the way, there were almost twice as many participants as the previou<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s year. Our Second Chance Bank project helped to find needs of the wartime together with you. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><em><span lang=\"UK\">I<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">t\u2019s really hard to imagine how difficult it was to keep on.<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> But this year definitely made <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">all of us <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">stronger, even more adaptable and exactly showed who <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wa<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">s a friend, partner, reliable shoulder, and who has never been one.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><em><span lang=\"UK\">Therefore, making the most cherished wish for all of us under the Christmas tree \u2013 Victory<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">of Ukraine<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> &#8211; I sincerely <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">want to<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> wish <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">you <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">to spend Christmas and New Year&#8217;s days <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">in a warm<\/span><span lang=\"UK\"> circle <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">with <\/span><span lang=\"UK\">family, relatives and friends. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><em><span lang=\"EN-US\">I\u2019m absolutely sure that w<\/span><span lang=\"UK\">e will win.
