However, the delivery of a summons to the military registration and enlistment office does not mean that the person has been mobilized! The first step is to verify the credentials and undergo a medical examination to determine suitability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nevertheless, certain categories of conscripts are still entitled to deferment during mobilization, in particular in the case of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">if they were booked for the period of mobilization by public authorities \/ local governments or booked by enterprises, institutions and organizations;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recognition of persons with disabilities or persons who are temporarily unfit for service due to their state of health;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maintenance of three or more minor children;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">independent upbringing of a minor child \/ children;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">continuous care of a sick wife \/ husband, child \/ children, as well as their parents or wife \/ husband or person or adult child \/ children with disabilities of group I or II;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">if conscripts are guardians, adoptive parents, guardians or foster parents of persons with disabilities, incapacitated persons, or minor children deprived of parental care or orphans;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">education of a minor child with a disability or a child with severe mental disorders and rare diseases, the list of which is given in Art. 23 of the Law on mobilization training and mobilization;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">if the spouses have minor children \/ child, and one of the spouses is serving in one of the types of military service defined by Law \u2116 2232-XII of 25.03.1992 and other conscripts or certain categories of citizens are defined by special laws of Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>We advise you to pay attention!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For violation of the legislation on defense of Ukraine, mobilization training and mobilization a person may be fined from 1700 to 3400 hryvnias, and for evasion of conscription during mobilization and conscription in a special period &#8211; imprisoned for term from 3 to 5 years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Author:\u00a0Violetta Fedorko, Dynasty Law &amp; Investment Lawyer Currently, current legislation does not prohibit the service of summonses anywhere after identification.
