The intentions regarding double regulations of disinfectants and biocides spheres were excluded from this draft law.\u00a0 Recalling that in 2020 the first version of the draft law &#8220;On Chemical Safety&#8221; was developed, which proposed the introduction of regulations and another register for the disinfectants and biocides. These could introduce double regulation, as these areas have been regulated already. In addition by some Laws of Ukraine and MOH Orders, it regulate<span lang=\"en-US\">s<\/span> by <a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/908-2006-%D0%BF#Text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"4\">the Disinfectants Registration Procedure<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/laws\/show\/753-2013-%D0%BF?find=1&amp;text=%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%B7%D1%96%D0%BD#w1_5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"5\">the Technical Regulations for Medical Devices.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Association thanks the draft law developers for understanding the potential risks and for making appropriate changes to the updated law version.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On December 1, 2021, an updated version of the draft law &#8220;On Chemical Safety and Chemical Products Regulation&#8221; was published on the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources&#8217; website.
