The French chain of sports shops <\/span>Decathlon Ukraine<\/span><\/a> and the All-Ukrainian Center for Physical Health of the Population “Sport for All”<\/strong> announced the beginning of cooperation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On 21 September in Lille, France, the Decathlon headquarters hosted an official meeting of the parties with the participation of the Honorury Consul of Ukraine in Lille Etienne Murman, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in France Evgenii Kartavyi, Deputy Director of the Centre “Sport for All” Yuliia Filippova and representatives of the Decathlon chain in France.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the visit a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership was signed between the \u2032\u2032Sport for All\u2032\u2032 center and Decathlon Ukraine LLC.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the document the parties agreed to establish international ties and combine efforts to promote sports, develop the industry and create a positive image of an active lifestyle in Ukraine, in particular within the framework of the “Healthy Ukraine” presidential program.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are happy to be a part of the national presidential program “Healthy Ukraine” and <\/span><\/i>\u2032\u2032Sport for All\u2032\u2032 center<\/span><\/i>. This is a great initiative that promotes sports and a healthy lifestyle. As a European company, we fully share these values, and we came to Ukraine with the same goals: to make sports accessible to all, to help Ukrainians become healthier, to help them fall in love with sports and have a possibility to do them regularly regardless of their age, level of physical abilities or profession. We believe that thanks to our cooperation, we will be able to change the life of Ukrainian people through sport\u201d,<\/span><\/i> – CEO of Decathlon Ukraine, Florent Guieu’s<\/strong> comment on the signing of the memorandum.<\/span><\/p>\n

This memorandum will be the starting point for further cooperation. The parties are planning to work closely together on a number of projects, more details of which will be revealed in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n
