On September 5, a new capsule collection \u201cGo Circle\u201d by Yuliya Postushna<\/strong>, Ukrainian designer was presented during the Ukrainian Fashion Week. Creation of this collection is a result of collaboration between DHL and POSTUSHNA.<\/p>\n DHL Express Ukraine consistently promotes sustainability principles, in particular \u2013 corporate upcycling. Used clothes should not become another environment pollution factor. The nature is able to self-heal as a result of repeating cyclical changes. We as humans are also perfectly capable to give used things a new life.<\/p>\n Therefore, it\u2019s no surprise that in the fashion industry has emerged and successfully develops such sustainable approach as circular fashion. In contrast to the commonplace linear fashion, this new fashion direction provides for \u201clife\u201d cycles of clothes that span from creation of a new clothes item, its multiple recycling cycles and ends on item\u2019s disposal in a manner that is safe for the environment.<\/p>\n The \u201cGo Circle\u201d collection is created from the used DHL uniform and utilizes both old textiles and accessories in order to minimize waste. Each clothes item represents urban lifestyle and attitude: rapid, dynamic and contrasting. The creation of the collection is a kind of call out to understand the need to alleviate the burden of human impact on the planet.<\/p>\n The objective of Yuliya Postushna\u2019s collaboration with DHL lies in not only creation of a new product utilizing the existing products, but also in developing an efficient cycle where all processes will represent a circular production system. \u201cCircular fashion is a kind of reset for the environment. This way, we allow the planet to take a break from the ton of waste we produce.
