The Deoligarhization is an initiative, which is actively discussed in the public area. That is why the European Business Association within the Leopolis Jazz Fest dear to find the answer to that question: is it myth or reality? The discussion was conducted on June 27 at the marvelous Terassa of Rius Hotel.<\/p>\n

Liudmyla Buimister<\/strong>, People’s deputy, the Subcommittee on Competition Development and Equal Business Conditions Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, noted that relevant draft law version does not provide consequences for persons who will be included in the so-called oligarchs register, that is why separate registers will not help to solve the inequality problem.<\/p>\n

Tomash Fiala<\/strong>, E\u0412A President, Dragon Capital CEO, pointed out the importance of all laws reading that should be within this concept. After all this draft law looks like populism.<\/p>\n

Vladyslav Rashkovan<\/strong>, IMF Deputy Executive Director, said that he does not like the concept of sanctions against the oligarchs. After all, the question is not only to make a list of oligarchs but also what the next step should be so that the oligarchic model does not prevail in Ukraine tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Dmytro Sennychenko<\/strong>, the State Property Fund Chairman, stressed that there are no simple and quick solutions, we all should do everything possible for the country to pass this transformation stage. Systemic reforms are what the country desperately needs.<\/p>\n

Oleksandr Danyliuk<\/strong>, the National Depository Supervisory Board Chairman, noted that the draft law philosophy itself is not correct. The declarations under the draft law are simply populism, which has nothing to do with the struggle against the oligarchs. According to Olexander, only a prosperous strong economy will help to establish equal game rules in the country and a win-win system.<\/p>\n
