OTP Bank has introduced the verification of the clients documents\u2019 authenticity via \u201cDiya\u201d application, Valentina Rozanova, Head of the Retail Business Development and Lending Department of OTP Bank announced.<\/p>\n
According to her, such documents verification became possible due to the integration of the \u201cDiya\u201d functionality with the bank’s software.<\/p>\n
At the first stage of the project, the validation function will be implemented for actual customers \u2013 private individuals for their further servicing in the Bank’s branches without providing paper copies or originals of their documents (ID-card or passport).<\/p>\n
At the second stage, in this summer, OTP Bank plans to implement the functionality of digital clients\u2019 documents\u2019 copies obtaining via \u201cDiya\u201d to form new clients\u2019 legal cases\u00a0 and to update actual cases.<\/p>\n
“Implementation of this project will make customer service in the branches more convenient and faster. Also, we expect a reduction in the risks of providing invalid or falsified documents, because the validation of documents via \u201cDiya\u201d excludes such a possibility,”<\/em> – V.
