The invited expert <strong>Kateryna Matiushchenko<\/strong>\u00a0told us about the importance of proper communication at every step of the candidate&#8217;s path, from placing a vacancy to the onboarding process. In particular, Kateryna emphasized the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use all possible communication channels to publish vacancies such as Linkedin, Glassdoor, the company&#8217;s channels, telegram channels, and its employees as a source of communication;<\/li>\n<li>When describing vacancies, you should pay attention to certain points that will make the candidate pay attention to the vacancy:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; vacancy relevance;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; a description of what the candidate will do, but not a list of strict requirements for age\/education, candidate&#8217;s work experience;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; briefly describe the future onboarding process;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; values that are confessed by the company;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; more information on the support that companies will provide to their employees;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; vacancy description creativity, which attracts attention.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The resume submission process convenience is crucial because at this stage you can often lose a good candidate;<\/li>\n<li>The first person of the company and existing employees are the best ambassadors of the brand;<\/li>\n<li>The first contact matters. The recruiter or interviewer requirements are the same as for a candidate;<\/li>\n<li>Test task is ok, but should not take more than 3-4 hours to be done;<\/li>\n<li>Feedback is required, even if you refuse a candidate, and especially if the candidate has already gone through several stages of the interview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We thank Kateryna for the informative meeting and everyone who joined the meeting.
