On December 22, the final Tax&Acounting Committee meeting was held. The Committee members had a chance to talk with Ihor Komendat<\/strong>, the Head of the Main Department of State Tax Service in the Lviv region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Komendat announced the results of the State Tax Service in the Lviv region activity. He drew attention to the office’s high efficiency, about which you can get to know on the official page via the link: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tax.lviv<\/a>. The Head of the Department also drew attention to the Tax Service reorganization from 01.01.2021, through the State Tax Service territorial authorities’ liquidation as legal entities and the formation of the State Tax Service separate territorial divisions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Committee members also discussed the situation around the \u0421ash Registers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Komendat mentioned that postponing the \u0421R mandatory use for one year is not very comforting. It is necessary to conduct a more effective promotional campaign for CR use in general. Such an initiative should come from the public, not the state. It may be more effective.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Businesses pointed out the need to reduce the value-added tax rates to support agricultural production and expressed concern about the controlled foreign companies reporting (CICs) for 2020 in October 2021. As there is no such regular report form yet, it is necessary to organize a joint event with all stakeholders to discuss possible reporting options.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was held in the form of dialogue. The participants had the opportunity to raise concerns to the head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, which directly concern them. Therefore, the participants asked questions regarding the tax invoices blocking, the procedure for VAT refunds, the moratorium on inspections, etc. On behalf of the Committee members, we thank Mr. Igor for the active discussion, Igor Pihurko – for the moderation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
