In fact, this is the essence of the methodology: teamwork, which has its own rules, roles and tools, and constant interaction and communication between its &#8220;players&#8221; and with the customer.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"a\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">The main components of the SCRUM<\/span><\/b><b><span lang=\"UK\">&#8211;<\/span><\/b><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">methodology are:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"a\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">3 roles:<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\"> Development team (up to 9 people), Scrum-master, Product Owner<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"a\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><b>Sprint<\/b> (running a short distance): iteration with a fixed period of time<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<li class=\"a\"><b>4 meetings: <\/b>sprint planning, stand-up (daily short meeting), sprint review, retrospective<\/li>\n<li class=\"a\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">3 documents:<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-US\"> Product backlog (single resource with description of requirements for all product changes), Sprint backlog (to-do list that helps the development team achieve sprint goals), Sprint Burn Down Chart (task burnout chart)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"a\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Basic principles of SCRUM:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"a\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Communication<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"a\">Simplicity<\/li>\n<li class=\"a\">Feedback<\/li>\n<li class=\"a\">Strength<\/li>\n<li class=\"a\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Respect<\/span>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\">SCRUM has long established itself as an effective methodology of work and is widely used by well-known IT-companies in the world and in Ukraine, for example, in EPAM, Ciclum, SoftServe and other IT-companies and those with 200+ employees.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The speaker of the lecture was Viktor Kocherga, who has been working with IT companies in Ukraine for more than 10 years and currently provides services to EPAM as a Lead Systems Engineer.
