On September 8, 2020, the long-awaited Offline Meeting of the Coordination Council was held, at which the Head of the EBA South Ukrainian Office Kateryna Morozova<\/strong> together with the Chairmen of Committees\u2019 and Working Groups\u2019 of the Association in Odesa discussed some organizational issues. In particular, we paid attention to the issues of advocacy and protection of the interests of member- companies, shared our achievements during the online period, updated the plans of Committees and meetings in new formats, and held a collective brainstorm on the development of the Association in the Southern region.<\/p>\n

In particular, we focused on discussing collective lobbying and advocacy of member companies, shared our achievements over the period, updated the plans of the Committees and meetings in new formats which were discussed at the last online meeting, and held a collective brainstorm on the development of the Association in the Southern region taking into account the new reality.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the meeting was a visit to the UkrEcoProm company’s production facilities, where director Vitaliy Dankevych<\/strong> presented to colleagues how to waste disposal and destruction processes take place, what equipment and installations the company uses in its work and the route of hazardous waste from their formation to the stage of complete destruction or recycling. In addition, emphasis was placed on the nessasity to address the problem of waste management, as well as the gaining more and more weight and importance in society.<\/p>\n
