On September 3, 2020 at the 8th video lesson on Transport, Shipping Trade Web Course. Season 2, organized by the EBA Southern Ukrainian Office in partnership with the International Legal Service Interlegal, we received answers to topical questions on the practice of international trade and shipping under English law regulation.<\/p>\n

For example, if your counterparty is in default, you may be asked how to formulate a counter-offer to pay an amount less than the claim, so as not to lose the right to claim the full amount of damages in court, if the counterparty refuses. In such a situation, the rules of English law on the peaceful settlement of disputes and an arbitration clause will be useful. We also learned how to enforce an arbitration award, as well as how much a GAFTA \/ FOSFA arbitration costs.<\/p>\n
