{"id":773461,"date":"2020-06-22T07:30:48","date_gmt":"2020-06-22T04:30:48","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2020-06-27T07:39:14","modified_gmt":"2020-06-27T04:39:14","slug":"mytnyj-komitet-asotsiatsiyi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.eba.com.ua\/en\/mytnyj-komitet-asotsiatsiyi\/","title":{"rendered":"EBA Customs Committee meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 22, 2020, the EBA Lviv Customs Committee members discussed two draft laws \u21163562 dated May 29, 2020, and \u21163562-1 dated June 16, 2020, on Amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding the customs value of goods. After the meeting, the participants noted the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amendments to the legislation regarding customs valuation and controlling procedures should be accompanied by the transparent process of forming a risk management system at the customs, the operation of which is proposed as one of the principal grounds for such control measures<\/li>\n<li>The customs officials&#8217; powers in the framework of customs valuation should be transparent and directly regulated by the Customs Code of Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>Expansion of the grounds for conducting a post-audit, including customs value, will result in a significant burden on business by regulatory authorities, which will negatively influence Ukraine&#8217;s investment climate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Companies also mentioned that those changes are not on time since the business must concentrate on conditions caused by quarantine measures and the fight against COVID-19 in Ukraine. Therefore, the participants of the meeting concluded that two drafts should be recalled.
