The funds will be transferred to <a href=\"https:\/\/openeyes.org.ua\/uk\/projects\/26079\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the corporate Charity Fund \u201cOpen Eyes\u201d<\/a> and\u00a0will be directed to address urgent medical needs in the cities where the company&#8217;s offices are located.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt is now extremely important for Ukrainian entrepreneurs to unite as we always do in challenging\u00a0times. We need to stand together to support the health system at all levels and help to confront the\u00a0pandemic or its effects\u201d,<\/em> says <strong>Taras Verveha<\/strong> &#8211; a Co-Founder and Board Member of SoftServe and the\u00a0head of Charity Fund \u201cOpen Eyes\u201d. <em>\u201cWe have gathered a team of people who are closely monitoring\u00a0the situation in the cities where our offices are located and study the most urgent needs for medical\u00a0equipment, medicine, etc., together with medical institutions determine the most pressing needs that we\u00a0will respond to in the shortest possible time\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To prevent the risk of spreading the virus and to protect the company&#8217;s employees the company has\u00a0taken the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All offices and more than 8,000 SoftServe employees were transitioned to working remotely.<\/li>\n<li>A crisis committee has been operating for weeks, constantly monitoring the situation and makes\u00a0the necessary decisions in order to secure employees and adapt the company&#8217;s operating\u00a0processes to new working conditions;<\/li>\n<li>All business trips are banned and employees are advised to avoid personal travel;<\/li>\n<li>A mandatory quarantine during 14 days has been set for all employees returning from business\u00a0trips or private trips;<\/li>\n<li>The company has cancelled or moved all external training events online. All internal corporate\u00a0training, as well as meetings, are moved to digital;<\/li>\n<li>SoftServe IT Academy courses that prepare students to start a career in IT have been moved\u00a0online;<\/li>\n<li>The company has returned home to all employees who were on business trips and vacations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About SoftServe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SoftServe is a leading Ukrainian IT company working in the field of software development and\u00a0consulting services.
