IT professionals make millions. IT is boring. IT work is for men only. These are the most popular myths about working for IT companies. And Kateryna Latner, HR in LUXOFT, dispelled these myths.<\/p>\n

To introduce the teenagers the work in the IT field, specialties and opportunities for themselves, the representatives of different specialties working at LUXOFT were invited to communicate. And everyone tald about the specifics of their work.<\/p>\n

  • Support department \u2013 great job to get started.<\/li>\n
  • Test engineer: critical thinking, constantly learning, developing, reading, good English (as in any IT specialty).<\/li>\n
  • IT recruiter \u2013 constant communication, 2-3 stages of interview with a candidate.<\/li>\n
  • Intern \u2013 start in IT.<\/li>\n
  • Programmer \u2013 writing programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In general, as representatives of the company have told \u2013 work in IT is a pleasure for them. It is constant development, constant growth, interesting work in the field of advanced technologies. However, as they emphasize, it is extremely important to maintain a balance between private life and work. Also, the main thing is the result of the work, not just the amount of time that the employee \u201csits\u201d in the workplace.<\/p>\n

    The second part was a tour of the company office. They saw everything: jobs, recreation and relaxation rooms that everyone had heard of, sports rooms with simulators, tennis table, Play Station, eating room. Of course, it was extremely interesting for everyone to dive into the IT environment and see the work of the IT company inside!<\/p>\n
