According to the European Business Association, an Expert Council is a temporary advisory body for legislative initiatives in transport infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The business community welcomes the VRU Committee initiative to establish a body that enables representatives of the business community to be involved in legislative discussions and stresses on the importance of its functioning.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, on October 17<sup>th<\/sup> the\u00a0EBA requested the Chairman of the VRU Committee to include the representatives of the EBA Logistics Committee to the Expert Council. However, no response has been received until this time.<\/p>\n<p>The business community emphasizes that the transparent formation of the Expert Council and the involvement of business representatives is a prerequisite for the development of qualitative and effective legislation.
