Austria was one of the first countries which recognized Ukraine\u2019s independence. Since then, our relations have been continuously evolving in different directions, in cultural, scientific and political spheres. Austria invested $1.3 billion in Ukrainian economy in 2017. The trade turnover between the two countries rose by 18.5% in 2017. Ukraine increased its exports to Austria by 48% year-over-year.<\/p>\n

On December 3, 2018, in the frames of the EBA Odesa Extended Coordination Council Meeting representatives of member companies were able to discuss possible prospects for cooperation with the Commercial Counsellor of the Austrian Embassy Ms\u00a0Gabriele Haselsberger<\/strong> and her Assistant Ms\u00a0Susanne Macht<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cUkraine is an attractive IT market, it is one of the world leaders in this sphere. This is an agro-industrial complex, one of the most powerful in Europe. These are interesting offers in the renewable energy sector. We have a chance to attract Austrian investments into Ukraine. But for this purpose, Ukraine have to be opened and ready for cooperation\u201d<\/em> – said Ms Haselsberger.<\/p>\n
