On October 9, 2018, EBA Southern Ukrainian Office met in a new format – Expert Talks. CEOs and business owners of Odesa, who understood that the so-called age of uncertainty had come, decided to figure out together how to work better in conditions of total uncertainty and to prevent chaos, or at least to streamline it. The speakers were experts from the Center Security Agency: Founder and Managing Partner Konstantin Zhuravel<\/strong>, Head of legal direction Victor Dominguez<\/strong> and Head of the information-analytical department Roman Sichkarenko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the first part dedicated to professional and personal competencies<\/strong>, Mr Zhuravel described the “age of uncertainty”, its specifics, peculiarities and how to turn them into own benefit. He noted the basic principles of corporate security and leadership, and outlined the critical conditions for achieving results and overcoming the consequences of errors.<\/p>\n

Mr Dom\u00ednguez joined the discussion and opened for participants the next section – the legal block<\/strong>. He highlighted the features of the so-called “airbag”, emphasized the importance of building proper relationships with partners since the start of business, checking\/supporting contractors, using document circulation as a tool for protecting of own business. Particular interest among visitors were caused by the prevention of raidership. Guests shared real examples of raider attacks, robberies and thefts, and discovered what actions are most effective in protecting themselves against attacks on their property and business.<\/p>\n

In his turn, Mr. Sichkarenko accented the importance of analyzing the current system of protection and internal audit<\/strong> (all departments, services of the company for the presence of threats and dangers, personnel for reliability) and IT security. The result of which may be the conclusions and suggestions for adjustments in job descriptions and staff schedule, improvement of the company\u2019s technical protection system, etc.<\/p>\n

During the discussion of practical cases from experts, the participants consolidated their knowledge of effective activities in business and personal life. So, every next stage of our needs has a causal relationship with the previous one (Maslow’s pyramid). After all, only by providing the basic security for oneself, your family and business, you can lay a solid foundation for the next stage. For example, the aspirations for self-expression and respect can not be obtained without satisfying one\u2019s safety and physiological needs. Only after this, using of additional tools of systematization, arrangement and management can became a ticket for success of your business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
