Kyiv, Ukraine,\u00a027 September 2018.<\/strong>\u00a0Baker McKenzie’s Kyiv office provided full legal support to Monsanto, which has now become a part of Bayer group, on all stages of the\u00a0seeds processing facility construction project in Ukraine.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The largest of its kind in Ukraine, the seeds processing facility was officially opened on 5 September 2018 in Pochuiky, Zhytomyr region. It is reported that the seeds facility is providing 85 permanent and 220 seasonal jobs.<\/p>\n

The scope of Baker McKenzie’s work included real estate, project financing, and regulatory and competition issues. The Kyiv team supported the project for more than five years, stating from its very inception. Our lawyers conducted legal due diligence, advised on various legal issues relating to construction, land, project financing, regulatory permits and licenses, as well as\u00a0 assisted in obtaining AMC approvals for the project, and more.
