DLA Piper has advised Atlantic Agro Holdings and DUI Holding on the sale of three companies: Kyiv Atlantic Ukraine (KAU), Atlantic Farms and Atlantic Farms II, which together formed Kyiv Atlantic Group, a grain, oil seed and vegetable protein processing agroholding.<\/p>\n

Located in Kyiv Oblast\u2019s city of Myronivka \u2013 65 kilometers south of Kyiv \u2013 KAU has been operating in Ukraine for 28 years. The 40-acre fenced area includes a grain elevator, a soybean expeller plant, and a modern feed mill. Atlantic Farms leases about 3,000 acres of arable land whereas Atlantic Farms II \u2013 6,500 acres. Kyiv Atlantic Group was equally owned by the Sweere Family \u2013 David, Tamara and son Daniel \u2013 and Danish company DUI Holding.<\/p>\n

The DLA Piper team in Denmark was led by Corporate partner, Karsten Pedersen, Anastasiya Bolkhovitinova (Legal Director) with DLA Piper Ukraine was responsible for Ukrainian part of the transaction.
