DLA Piper has advised Haas Group, the Austrian world market leader of wafer, biscuits, and confectionery production systems, on the sale of their global group to the Swiss company B\u00fchler AG.<\/p>\n

B\u00fchler AG is a leading technology group and a leader in processing grains, rice, cocoa, coffee, and other raw materials as well as a leading solution provider of die-casting and surface-coating technologies in high-volume application areas, such as automotive, optics, and inks.<\/p>\n

The DLA Piper international team advising the Haas Group involved lawyers from the firm’s offices in Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and the United States. The team was led by Christoph Mager, head of DLA Piper’s Corporate and M&A practice in Vienna, Austria. The work was undertaken alongside DLA Piper’s cooperation partners in Brazil, Campos Mello Advogados. The team in Ukraine was led by head of Competition in Kyiv, Galyna Zagorodniuk, supported by Corporate associate Andrii Zhupanyn.<\/p>\n
