The conference highlighted urgent issues of treatment of patients with diabetes and world experience of new approaches implementation to providing such patients with medical products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">Lidiya\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">Sangarovskaya<\/span><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">, senior associate at Legal Alliance Company, at a workshop told about legal issues in\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">medicine and how to protect oneself and one\u2019s patient<\/span><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">. In particular, Lidiya focused on such issues as main aspects of the medical reform, government reimbursement program \u201cAffordable Medicines\u201d, industry standards in healthcare sector and main limits on doctor\u2019s professional activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHealthcare professionals at their professional activities cannot advertise medicinal products, medical products or prescribe medicinal products on forms containing advertisement information and specify producers of medicinal products (trademarks)\u201d<\/em><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">, Lidiya emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">The\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">event was organized by the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">Shupik<\/span>\u00a0and All-Ukrainian Public Organization \u201cUkrainian Diabetes Association\u201d<span class=\"qowt-font4-Arial\">.
