EBA Odesa updated Coordination Council meeting took place. Regional Committees\u2019’ Chairmen were also invited. Within the meeting, the results of the Association and its Southern Ukrainian office activities in 2017 were summed up.<\/p>\n

Regional manager Kateryna Morozova noted that the last year EBA Odesa organized over 60 events in various formats, in which about 1300 attendees participated. Among the speakers of the year were: the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration, the Head of the Odessa Customs, the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the Deputy Chairmen of the NBU, the leadership of the regional departments of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the State Labor Service, Pension Fund of Ukraine and personally the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine. There were also lots of interesting projects, in particular – the Open Dialogue with Authorities. It resulted in lively discussions and new lobbying initiatives. In 2017, the Office had 5 collective initiatives and 9 individual cases, most of them were solved successfully.<\/p>\n

Further, the participants considered plans for the current year, outlining the following priorities: continuing constructive dialogue with authorities and local self-government, active work towards protecting companies’ interest and promoting lobbying initiatives of the Office, creating new projects for the development of priority areas in the Southern region.
