Hugue Mingarelli, the Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine, during his working visit to Kharkiv met with the CEOs of the EBA Kharkiv office Coordination Council and the representatives of the regional active business community.<\/p>\n

The participants talked about the implementation of the reforms and the Association Agreement, business support and business environment improvement, decentralization in the region, and so on.<\/p>\n

\u2018Kharkiv region is one of the most dynamic regions in Ukraine. There is an extraordinary scientific potential, good industrial conditions. The European Union will continue to implement on the territory of the region a number of programs for assistance to small and medium-sized businesses, the development of primary care, the provision of the administrative services, the assistance to the united territorial communities, etc. ,\u2018 said Mr Ambassador.<\/p>\n

The EU has a wide range of tools that can help create the conditions for economic development, and here it is important to find out and assess the specifics of the area and its needs, so the EU High Representative has appealed to the business community to mobilize and join their efforts.<\/p>\n
