The European Business Association unites companies that are socially responsible and realize the need to make a voluntary contribution to the development of society in social, economic, environmental and other fields that is directly related to the main activity of the company and is beyond the statutory minimum. To this end, since 2006 the EBA Corporate Social Responsibility Committee operates in Kyiv.<\/p>\n

The EBA Southern Ukrainian Office also gathers its member companies to discuss Corporate Social Responsibility issues. Thus, on January 31, 2017 a meeting of the EBA Odesa Personal and Corporate Efficiency Studio was held. It was dedicated to “CSR \u2013What do business need this for?\u201d Guests of the meeting were representatives of \u201c\u041c\u043e\u0439 \u0433\u043e\u0440\u043e\u0434\u201d platform \u2013 Development Director Liubov Zhdan and the platform Director Yevhen Kuzmychov.<\/p>\n

During the meeting participants determined what is CSR, what do business need it for, what types and levels of corporate social responsibility exist, reason for the CSR popularity in the world, why there are not so many examples of CSR in Ukraine and is there any chance of spreading the idea.
