After welcoming members of the meeting, Regional Manager Kateryna Morozova shared information on the activities of the EBA Southern Ukrainian office and its interaction with local authorities in the first part of 2017, and Board Members and Committees Chairmen shared their vision concerning business climate in the region, problem issues of the companies and possible ways to overcome them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Special guest, Mr. Jocelyn Guitton, told about the activities of the EU Delegation to Ukraine and emphasized the completion of the process of concluding and ratifying Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, which would allow the full implementation of the Agreement starting from September 1, 2017. Conclusion and entry into force of this Agreement will give new impetus to the development of cooperation in such areas as foreign and security policy, judicial proceedings, freedom and security (including migration), taxation, public finance management, science and technology, education and information society. The economic part of the Agreement will give Ukraine an opportunity to expand its trade relations and economic development, as it will open new markets for Ukraine, promote adaptation of legislation, standards and regulations in various sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
