For a long time, the EBA Consumer Electronics Committee lobbied for the necessity to cancel registration of consumer electronics in the Register of allowed radio electronics. On 20 February 2018, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatisation approved a draft Order on amendments to Register of Radio Electronics elaborated in cooperation with the EBA experts. After adoption of this document, registration of the vast majority of consumer electronics devices will be cancelled. The EBA will continue our lobbying activity aimed at supporting the adoption of this new Order as soon as possible.
